All 3 have top ratings from previous customers but it's only right to have the good and bad points laid for your own decision making.

1. Fitbit Alta HR Activity & Fitness Tracker with Heart Rate, 7 Day Battery & Sleep Tracking (Large Size) The markets current leading brand device! With a battery life of up to 7 days, you can worry less about your tracker and focus more on your goals. Pros:- This is our out and out winner. Available in 6 colours and 2 sizes which are further adjustable on the strap. It's lightweight so you hardly notice you're wearing it and it's packed full of features to keep you addicted to your current exercise regime. The Sleep tracker is a handy feature as all athletes, no matter on their level must ensure they get sufficient sleep and rest to develop properly as an athlete. Other features such as calories in and out, female cycle and water consumption are very helpful. The Fitbit is so well styled it looks more like a bracelet than a fitness device. It's comfortable to wear. This larger size is suitable for male athletes with a larger wrist. Cons:- There are a few..... Sometimes needs resetting and can be hard to Synch with devices. Battery life could be longer! Inclined to underestimate distance travelled. (it calculates it based on average stride length and steps walked) This device needs weekly charging! Note:- This device if taken off before bed will report a perfect nights sleep as it's default method of recording your nights sleep. It has no data to draw upon when not worn.

2. Fitbit Alta HR Activity & Fitness Tracker with Heart Rate, 7 Day Battery & Sleep Tracking (Small Size) This smaller strap version is aimed more at lady athletes and younger people. It's equally as comfortable as the larger strap model and still expands out to a good size but it's worth checking your wrist size to order the right one. Pros:- This is the smaller version and the features are the same as it's larger strap big brother. Ladies will get much more wear out of this device than the men making it a great gift for a female partner or friend! Cons:- As before..... Sometimes needs resetting and can be hard to Synch with devices. Battery life could be longer! Inclined to underestimate distance travelled. (it calculates it based on average stride length and steps walked) This device needs weekly charging! Note:- This device if taken off before bed will report a perfect nights sleep as it's default method of recording during the overnight period. It has no data to draw upon when not worn.

Huawei is the #3 largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world, Huawei's Health App provides you with detailed workout data and professional advice. Note:- As of November 2018 this has been offered at a new lower price, just click the image to order yours today! Pros:- This may of been our 3rd choice but it's a quality fitness device at an even better price! A little more chunky and less ergonomically designed than the more popular Fitbit, it's still a great device for the money. It's roughly half the price of the Fitbit but is still packed with useful features. A definite positive is the fast charging rate and it's noticeably long battery life which allows for more wear, more data collection and much more feedback for your money which in turn means you get more support from the device in the progression of your training. With Huawei's presence in the mobile phone marketplace it's built in GPS is a great addition to this device. If you're looking for a budget starting point in the market or an inexpensive fitness gift for a loved one then this is a great place to start! The UI App and the Companion App are easy to use. Cons:- It's hard to fault a quality device like this being offered at such a low price but we have found a few negatives.... GPS saps power from the device fast! Inclined to underestimate distance compared to your Phone App. Battery power is slightly less than advertised, lasting 16-17 days on average but still a very decent length of time for this type of device when more expensive prices at double the price have half the battery life! Strap has about 6 months life for heavy use, 12 months for lighter use. We hope you found these basic reviews useful in choosing a new Fitbit device for your training support.
